I'm a game artist, composer, animator and game developer from Finland.
In deviantART I'm looking to share my work + maybe some tutorials and to look at random art work from fellow deviants but I'm not accepting any additional work or collaborations at the moment.
Clip Studio Paint going for subscription model for CSP 2.0 was shocking. Of course you can still use CSP 1.0 forever - they say. But can you really rely on that after they show such cold bloodedness towards artists who don't want a subscription? And quite frankly I was so annoyed by the news that I felt I had to retaliate in someway. Probably I will still use CSP 1.0 at least to somethings but I will not have a subscription! I kinda lost taste... So, I started looking at alternatives. Professionally I have been relying on Affinity Suite a long time already and I've used Clip Studio Paint for sketching, painting and line art. Affinity isn't quite there with the painting; it just doesn't feel that nice to paint in. It's awesome with many other features like retouching and finalising art. But there's some heavy clunkiness when it comes to doing painterly art. Tried Krita. Looks great and I love that they have animation tools. I need to get into using it but there are some shortcut

I've been a Manga Studio fan for years.. I used Manga Studio 4 EX for a long time before the version 5 came around. One of the Manga Studio 4 features I've really missed in v.5 is the story editor which is now included in the update (EX version) in some form at least. Hurray for that!!
Of course there are some other new features too. One that attracted my eye was the color history -palette (lovelyyy). New filters, gradation map and group work mode for EX.. :O

Summer Holiday, what's that??

Kind of funny - just declared last spring that I'm going to be here much more and what happens? Life.
My father's been in a hospital, my two nieces came over and then my sister arrived for a summer holiday from U.S. While it's been hectic and I've had difficulties of finding my own space and time, I'm grateful of many things. My father lives and feels good now that his condition was taken care of. My two nieces are wonderful and I love them. I got the chance to get to know my nephew from U.S., he's an awesome little guy and we've had such a good time with him. And so much more good things are happening in my family.
